The Xiaomi Smart Camera C200 is a high-performance indoor security camera that blends affordability with intelligent functionality, making it an ideal choice for home security, baby monitoring, pet observation, and elder care. Compact and elegantly designed, the C200 offers full-room coverage and advanced features typically found in more expensive models.

Design and Build

The Xiaomi C200 features a clean, modern design with a compact spherical camera head mounted on a stable base. It supports 360° horizontal rotation and 106° vertical tilt, providing a full panoramic view of the room. The camera is mounted on a motorized gimbal, allowing for smooth remote-controlled panning and tilting via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.

Image Quality and Night Vision

Equipped with a 2MP sensor, the camera records in 1080p Full HD resolution. It uses Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to manage lighting contrasts, ensuring clear images even in backlit or low-light conditions. At night, the camera switches to 940nm infrared night vision, which is invisible to the human eye — delivering black-and-white footage without disturbing light emissions, perfect for monitoring sleeping infants or pets.

Smart AI Features

The C200 leverages AI-based human detection, reducing false alarms by distinguishing people from moving objects such as curtains or pets. The motion tracking feature allows the camera to automatically follow moving subjects within its field of view, ensuring continuous coverage. Users receive real-time motion alerts directly on their smartphones, allowing immediate review and response.

Two-Way Audio and Privacy Mode

Built-in two-way audio allows for real-time communication through the camera. Whether checking in on family or calming a pet, the high-quality speaker and microphone make interaction easy. The privacy mode can be activated through the app to disable video recording and lens movement when privacy is needed.

Storage and Connectivity

For video storage, the camera supports microSD cards up to 256GB and offers cloud storage options for added security. The camera connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing voice-controlled viewing on smart displays.

App Integration

The Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app serves as the control hub, enabling live viewing, playback, rotation control, and notification customization. The user interface is intuitive, offering quick setup and robust control options.
