Xiaomi 15T Ram 8GB Internal Storage 256GB

Display and Build Quality

The device features a massive 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat display with a resolution of $2772 \times 1280$. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. One of its standout features is the peak brightness of 3200 nits, ensuring the screen remains perfectly legible even under the harsh midday sun in Nairobi. The build is rugged, boasting an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, certified for submersion up to 3 meters for 30 minutes.

 Performance and Hardware

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 15T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra (4nm). This chipset is optimized for high-efficiency multitasking and gaming. To manage heat during intensive tasks, Xiaomi utilizes its 3D IceLoop cooling system, which is significantly more effective than traditional vapor chambers. The 256GB internal storage uses UFS 4.1 technology, which allows for lightning-fast file transfers and near-instant app loading.

Photography System

Xiaomi continues its partnership with Leica, equipping the 15T with a professional-grade triple camera setup:

• Main: 50MP with a Light Fusion 800 sensor and OIS ($f/1.7$).

• Telephoto: 50MP ($f/1.9$) providing 2x optical zoom (up to 92mm equivalent).

• Ultra-wide: 12MP ($f/2.2$) with a 120° field of view.

The camera software includes Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant modes, alongside the Xiaomi AISP 2.0 (AI Image Signal Processing) for superior low-light performance and skin tone accuracy.

Battery and Software

The phone is equipped with a 5500mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, which offers higher energy density than standard lithium-ion packs. It supports 67W HyperCharge, reaching 100% in approximately 50 minutes. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 (Android 15), which integrates Google Gemini for AI tasks and features Astral Communication for improved signal in remote areas.
