True 11.1.4 Channel Full Surround

Enjoy true surround sound in your home with 11.1.4 channels of cinematic audio. 11 front and surround channels, 1 subwoofer channel, and 4 up-firing channels completely envelop you in sound. The compact 8-inch dual active unit subwoofer uses AI-based control technology that optimizes bass. With wireless up-firing rear speakers included, sound wraps around and from above by reflecting sound off the ceiling to deliver breathtaking overhead audio.

Wireless Dolby Atmos

Surround yourself in Dolby Atmos 3D sound—with or without an HDMI cable. The object-based spatial audio lets you hear every distinct sound from above and around you. Whether it's the sound of helicopters flying in the sky, cars whizzing by, or an orchestra in a concert hall washing over you, feel fully immersed in your content just like in the movies.

Q-Symphony

When matched with a compatible Samsung television, the HW-Q990F can utilize Samsung's Q-Symphony technology to work together with the TV's built-in speakers to provide more nuanced sound. It separates voices and background sounds from the original audio input, and remasters audio objects to deliver optimal surround sound.

SpaceFit Sound Pro Plus

Enjoy stunning sound automatically tuned and calibrated to your room using sensors embedded into the soundbar. The soundbar automatically adjusts settings for clear sound and immersion regardless of your room's layout or where the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers are placed. With heightened clarity and immersive audio, enjoy the most ideal sound in any space.

Smart Integration

Connect your devices and control everything with Samsung's soundbar that integrates your favorite voice assistants and smart services, like Alexa built-in, Google Cast, Airplay 2, and more.

Improved Dialogue and Vocals

Both Adaptive Sound and Active Voice Amplifier help you to better hear vocals in music and dialogue in shows and movies. Adaptive Sound intelligently recognizes the type of content you're watching based on real-time scene analysis and automatically adapts audio settings to produce clear voices and detailed sounds. Active Voice Amplifier analyzes the background noise in your room and in the content you're watching and automatically enhances voices in the scene, so dialogue can be heard clearly.

Subwoofer With Dynamic Bass Control

Get powerful bass enhanced with AI-driven control to reduce distortion caused by subwoofer vibrations for sound that's true to the original audio—all in a compact subwoofer that blends into your space.

Game Mode Pro

Compatible with Samsung's Gaming Hub, and consoles such as the PS5 or Xbox Series X, the HW-Q990F automatically activates Game mode when connected to a compatible Samsung TV. It provides dynamic 3D sound that is auto optimized for surround sound gaming with maximum immersion.
