Design & Display

The Nord CE5 sports a minimalist design with a matte-frosted plastic back and a flat 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The screen supports HDR10+, offers a peak brightness of 1,430 nits, and features Aqua Touch, allowing touch responsiveness even with wet fingers. Despite a large 7,100mAh battery, the phone remains relatively slim and lightweight, offering an excellent balance between battery and ergonomics. The display is vivid and smooth, ideal for gaming, video, and everyday use.

Performance

Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350-Apex chipset, a 4nm processor capable of clock speeds up to 3.35GHz. Paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, the phone handles multitasking, high-refresh gaming, and app usage efficiently. Benchmarks reflect solid mid-to-upper-tier performance, with AnTuTu scores hovering around 1.3 million. Thermal performance is also well managed with a large vapor chamber for heat dissipation.

Battery & Charging

One of the Nord CE5’s standout features is its massive 5,200 battery, significantly larger than most phones in this category. With regular use, it easily lasts 2 full days. OnePlus Nord CE5supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, going from 0–100% in under 45 minutes. Features like Battery Health Engine and Bypass Charging help extend battery longevity and reduce overheating during gaming or charging while using the device.

Camera System

It has a dual rear setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The camera captures vibrant, detailed photos in daylight and performs decently in low-light scenarios, though it lacks a telephoto lens. Video is supported up to 4K@30fps, and the 16MP selfie camera delivers stable, color-accurate selfies and 1080p video with EIS.

Software & AI Features

The OnePlus Nord CE5  device ships with OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, and comes with a 4-year Android upgrade promise and 6 years of security updates. Built-in AI features include call transcription, AI Reply, voice translation, AI Writer, image editing tools (like AI Eraser), and “Mind Space” for focus and wellbeing. These integrations improve productivity and streamline user experience.
