JBL Bar 1300MK2 11.1.4 channel soundbar system

The MK2 takes the "no-wires" surround philosophy to the next level with a massive speaker array:

• 11.1.4 Channel Architecture: The Bar 1300MK2  system uses 11 horizontal channels, 1 dedicated subwoofer channel, and 4 up-firing drivers (two on the bar and two on the surrounds) to create a literal "dome" of sound.

• Detachable Wireless Surrounds: The iconic magnetically detachable speakers provide true rear surround effects. They feature up-firing drivers for height and now include side-firing tweeters to widen the soundstage even further. They offer up to 10–12 hours of playtime and can double as standalone portable Bluetooth speakers.

• Dual-Driver Subwoofer: Unlike traditional single-driver subs, the Bar 1300MK2 features a dual 8-inch wireless subwoofer (in some regions a 12-inch single sub) with AI Sound Boost. This technology pushes the drivers to their maximum potential without distortion, delivering bass as low as 33Hz.

 2025 AI and Processing Upgrades

The "MK2" designation brings several critical technology updates over the original Bar 1300:

• MultiBeam™ 3.0: Provides a significantly wider horizontal soundstage by more accurately reflecting sound off your walls.

• PureVoice 2.0: An AI-enhanced dialogue algorithm that ensures every word is crystal clear, even when a movie's sound effects are at their peak.

• SmartDetails: A new technology that emphasizes subtle ambient textures—like a distant bird chirp or floorboard creak—to make the environment feel more realistic.

• Broadcasting Mode: Allows you to take the detachable speakers to another room (like the kitchen) to hear the TV audio simultaneously via the "Broadcasting" feature.

 Connectivity & Smart Features

• Triple HDMI Inputs: Includes three HDMI inputs and one HDMI eARC output, all supporting 4K Dolby Vision and HDR10+ passthrough.

• Future-Ready Wireless: Features Bluetooth 5.3 (Main bar) and Bluetooth 5.4 (Surrounds), plus Wi-Fi 6 for seamless streaming via AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Spotify/Tidal Connect.

• One-Touch Calibration: Uses built-in microphones to scan your room and optimize the 11.1.4 channels for your specific furniture and wall layout.
