Elimu Tab ET05 pro 256GB Tablet “For the Explorer” edition

Design & Display

• Display: Likely a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with decent clarity and viewing angles — consistent with the ET05 series.

• Build: Rugged or child-friendly casing; tablets in this family often have durable frames to withstand everyday use.

• Target Audience: ET05 pro is designed for learners (young children to pre-teens) and practical everyday tablet tasks.

 Performance & Memory

Although exact specs for the 256 GB variant aren’t listed in official online specs I found, here’s the expected configuration based on the Pro naming and comparison with lower ET05 models:

• RAM: Likely around 4 GB or higher, which supports smoother multitasking and app use (compared to basic 2 GB models).

• Storage: A large 256 GB internal storage — ideal for storing lots of educational apps, videos, photos, documents, and games without immediately relying on a microSD card.
Note: Standard versions like the regular ET05 usually have much lower storage (e.g., 16 GB) that’s expandable via microSD.

• Processor: A mid-range quad-core or octa-core chipset capable of handling everyday Android tasks and educational apps.

 Cameras & Audio

• Front Camera: Typically around 2 MP, suitable for video calls, conferencing, or online classes.

• Rear Camera: Usually 3 MP or similar for simple photos and scanning notes.

• Speakers: Built-in speakers for video lessons, music, and apps.

These features are standard in the regular ET05/ET05 Pro models, though the exact sensors may vary with the Explorer edition.

 Battery & Connectivity

• Battery: Likely a 3,000 mAh+ battery, good for several hours of learning, video playback, and classwork.

• Connectivity: Wi-Fi and possibly 4G/LTE support (SIM card slot) for internet access without Wi-Fi.

• Ports: USB-C (for charging and data), 3.5 mm headphone jack, and potentially microSD slot for future storage upgrades.

Standard ET05 tablets in Kenya include cellular and Wi-Fi options.

Software & Educational Focus

• Operating System: Likely Android with a customized education-oriented interface.

• Curriculum Support: Pre-loaded learning apps, parental controls, and profiles aligned with common curricula (like CBC, Cambridge, 8-4-4 in Kenya).

• User Profiles: Multi-user support and parental monitoring features.

These tools make the ET05 pro tablet suitable for both learning and general tablet use.
